The Best Windows PC Games

Gaming is one of the most important uses that we have for computers these days. We have to face the fact that it ranks high up on the list together with its use in the office and other work applications. Ever since the use of computers became common, people have been using it for playing games. That means that there is a great number of games that have been created and used for PC computers. Starting from the most simple and most primitive games from the early days of the computer, to today’s high quality games, developers have come up with awesome games that really catch our attention. We have tried to come up with a list here of some of the best Windows PC games that have been introduced since the beginning of the computer age.

We are sure that some people won’t agree with some parts of this list. Remember though that this list is highly subjective, so we really can not guarantee that everyone will be satisfied. Some will have other games in mind that might not be included here, while others might be disappointed that we have listed some and not others. However, if you’re looking for some PC computer games to get started with on your Windows PC then give any of these a try:

1. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six- Can you still remember the first time that you played this game? I’m sure that you were one of those blown away by its intensity. Like most of the other games that are included in this list, this game started a trend that continues to this day with high intensity games, with military themes. The buildup and the preparation for the actual action is just as engrossing and as intense as the fighting itself. The first game of this series also launched a franchise that has been continuously improved.

2. The Sims- The Sims is one of the most successful games ever created. It reaches across differences in age, sex, culture. As expected it has also spawned some spinoffs, and copycats that have also ventured into the world of game consoles. The great thing about this game, is that relies on a player’s creativity to make it work. While there’s no real goal to achieve in playing The Sims you can still really have a good time with it.

3. Warcraft 2: The Blizzards of Darkness- A lot of people would agree that this game belongs to this list. We all have fond memories of playing this game. The graphics were awesome for its period when it first came out. Playing this today, you can still experience a lot of fun with it.

4. Call of Duty- When it comes to warfare games, Call of Duty is at the top of the list. This game combines cinematic quality and gripping combat missions for a truly gripping game that has captured the imagination of a lot of people. It also has multilevel options that you can use to take your game to a different level.

5. World of Warcraft- This game is one of the most popular to have ever been created. Its success is based on the stunning graphics and intricate design that you can encounter throughout the game.

So try out some of these Windows PC games and see if you don’t agree with at least my take on one of them from this list. If you’re looking for a recommendation, then I don’t see how you can go wrong with Call of Duty.
